About the qualification
Our CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support reflects the role of support workers in aged services in residential, home or in community-based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery. Workers should demonstrate leadership and have some responsibility for the organisation and the quantity and quality of outputs of others.
Students will be required to complete 120 hours in a workplace approved by Aurora Training & Professional Services.
Upon successfully completing this nationally recognised qualification, students should be able to:
identify safe work practices for client care
facilitate the rights, interests and empowerment of clients
recognise and meet the support needs of clients.
Outcome
Successful completion of the CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support may lead to employment opportunities, including:
Aged Care Worker
Palliative Care Worker
Case Manager.

Duration
This qualification can be completed up to thirty-six months, dependent on the student's experience, Credit Transfer (CT) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Apply for CT or RPL during enrolment.

Student Requirements

WORK PLACEMENT
This training program includes a minimum of 120 hours of work placement.
New South Wales Work Placement requirements:
National Police Check clearance certificate
NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current vaccination records may be required.
Applications for these clearances are made on an individual basis directly to the relevant government department. Application fees may apply.
Students will require access to appropriate technology and internet if the materials are delivered online.
This nationally recognised qualification is delivered and assessed by Aurora Training & Professional Services Pty Ltd, RTO ID 90966, ABN 39 109 662 606. Fees
This course is available on a fee-for-service basis at $9,500 per student.

If a student's fee is more than this amount, the support of a flexible payment plan will be offered to students.
